Financial Accountant

Our Madurai office is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team.Job Summary:The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of financial data.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.- Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.- Prepare and file statutory returns and financial reports as required.- Support the management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (, CA Inter, or similar qualification preferred).- Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).- Strong understanding of Indian taxation and financial regulations.- Excellent MS Excel skills and attention to detail.- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
