Reporting to the Manager -Compliance, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our employment tax department and its’ growth.Key responsibilities:Manage and deliver Direct tax processes in line with pre-defined KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high quality and timeliness of outputs. Review & prepare tax computation and enable returns along with necessary working papers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).Prepare and review tax computations and returns for multiple jurisdictions, along with supporting working papers and documentation,Assist on advising on technical matters related with all the Direct Tax Services & review the work performed by team members.Assist with complications or complex technical matters reported by team members.Perform client follow up, review time entries, adhere to processes and maintain high quality of work. Understand client needs when performing Direct Tax work and develop strong technical research capabilities.Support in handling tax audits, assessments, and litigation matters, including preparation of responses, documentation, and coordination with tax authorities. Assist the client servicing units/teams with Direct Tax matters in their everydayMaster effective/efficient professional communication with tax authorities, external advisors and clients.Maintain a good understanding of Direct tax requirements and legal documents;Support the team management and take part in development of the team membersDevelop a strong understanding of country-specific tax requirements ensuring all deliverables are compliant with local regulations and filing standards.Stay well informed on professional and organizational developments andMaintain and regularly update trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports for effective monitoring and reporting of tax processes.Support process transitions/migrations from global locations into the Global Delivery Hub (GDH), including knowledge transfer and stabilization.Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation within tax workflows.Proactively identify risks and ensure timely escalation of issues to senior stakeholders or leadership.Assisit on Indirect Tax as and when required.Key requirements:2-7 years’ experience in Luxembourg TaxFluent in EnglishProficiency with MS Office suiteAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureGood communication and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlinesProactive with a client service orientated attitudeAttention to detail and ability to prioritizeFluency in written and spoken English.Good Presentation skills & Customer Focus.Solution oriented with strong analytical skillsCompany Benefits:At our Vistra GSC office, we believe in putting our employees’ well-being first!
