Job Description Human Resources Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park Salary: Negotiable DOE (Live-in) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Kruger National Park. This live-in role is ideal for a senior HR professional with a strong background in staff development, HR management, and employee relations within the hospitality or lodge environment. Key Responsibilities: Learning and Development Deliver the Lodge Training & Development Programme and enhance staff learning opportunities Collaborate with external training providers to expand the training portfolio Conduct skills gap analyses and contribute to a 5-year strategic training plan Manage course facilitators, trainers, and consultants, ensuring high-quality training delivery Coordinate training sessions in-person, online, or outsourced as appropriate Contribute training resources to internal knowledge platforms and support cross-functional modules Plan, monitor, and deliver the annual Training & Development Programme within budget Human Resource Management Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, performance management, and exits Provide professional HR guidance and support to staff and management teams Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with current legislation and best practices Support line managers in policy implementation and staff development Oversee performance appraisals and manage staff records Develop HR strategies considering both immediate and long-term staffing needs Promote an inclusive, positive, and collaborative workplace culture Collaborate on staff wellbeing initiatives with Health & Safety officers and First Aiders Liaise with external HR advisors and update the Staff Handbook annually Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Skills Development, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience at management level, preferably within hospitality or lodge operations Strong knowledge of HR legislation, best practices, and employee relations Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with experience in staff development and performance management Package & Benefits: Negotiable salary based on experience Live-in accommodation Opportunity to lead HR operations within a luxury safari lodge environment Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV to apply for this role.
