About the CompanyWe are seeking a detail-oriented US Accounting & Tax Professional with hands-on experience across all major US tax returns. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, prepare and review tax filings, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations for US-based clients.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, prepare and review tax filings, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations for US-based clients.ResponsibilitiesUS Accounting Manage day-to-day US accounting operations including General Ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end close Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Coordinate with US clients and internal teams on accounting mattersUS Taxation Prepare and review all major US tax returns: Individual returns – Form 1040 Partnership returns – Form 1065 Corporate returns – Form 1120 & 1120S Handle various tax filings Support multi-state tax compliance Assist during US tax seasons with accurate and timely filings Support tax audits and provide required documentationQualifications2–5 years of hands-on experience in US accounting and taxation Proven experience preparing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S returns Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IRS regulations Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce Experience working with US CPA firms or accounting service providers Exposure to multi-entity and multi-state tax engagementsWork Timings: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST (US Shift)
