Not even close.Role: Agentic AI EngineerLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build autonomous, multi-step AI agents that take real actions across Joveo's platform. You will design agent architectures, engineer tool-use systems, and ship production agents that do the work — not just respond to prompts.Key Responsibilities:- Design and build multi-step AI agents capable of autonomous task completion- Engineer tool-use systems, function calling patterns, and agent action loops- Implement planning, reasoning, and reflection mechanisms in agent workflows- Build guardrails, safety checks, and failure recovery for production agents- Develop evaluation frameworks for agent reliability and task completion rates- Optimize agent performance for latency, cost, and multi-step success ratesRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Hands-on experience building and shipping production AI agents- Deep understanding of agent architectures — ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, multi-agent systems- Expertise with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom stacks)- Strong Python skills and comfort with async, streaming, and long-running workflows- Experience with LLM tool-use, function calling, and structured output patterns- Ability to debug complex multi-step agent failures and reasoning errorsEqual Opportunity Employer:Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
