UMEDICA was founded in 1983 and has business operations in more than 85 countries including the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Australia, Middle East, Central & South American countries, Africa, Asia & CIS countries.We at UMEDICA strive to achieve more through a culture of innovation & continuous improvement.As part of our further expansion and growth plans, we are looking to hire an aggressive and dynamic Portfolio Management Professional for the regulated Markets specifically for our Finished Formulations Business. UMEDICA currently has 11 products approved and commercialised in the US market and a number of additional products currently under filing / in the development pipeline. This position is based at our Corporate Office at Nariman Point in Mumbai and will report into the DGM – Portfolio Management.The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent’s professional experience and will be in line with market standards. Essential skills and experience:The incumbent must have between 2 and 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry handling Portfolio management for regulated markets. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for:Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new product opportunities (OSD, Injectables, Oncology, Specialty); selection and building the portfolio roadmap with a particular focus on the regulated- USA, EU and UK markets.Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and patent analysis to build a robust pipeline.Monitor lifecycle of products, evaluate performance, and recommend portfolio optimization.Support new market entry strategies and expansion into emerging geographies.Prepare and present business cases, financial models, and ROI analysis.Engage with Business development function, IP, RA and senior management team to devise and update company’s product portfolio from time to time.Preferred Education requirements: Bachelor’s in pharmacy or related science discipline. Candidate having a post-graduation degree (i.e. MBA) will be preferred.Additional Skills:Ability to take initiative proactivelyData-driven with analytical skillsRisk & conflict management Strong verbal and written communication Good proficiency in computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
