Placement Manager – Electric Vehicles (EVs) | Green Skills Sector

Location- Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune and HyderabadThe role supports a multi-state green skills and Electric Vehicle (EV) workforce initiative, with a strong focus onindustry engagement, placements, apprenticeships , andpromotion of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) .Key ResponsibilitiesIndustry Engagement & Partnerships Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships withEV manufacturers, OEMs, Tier-1/2 suppliers, charging infrastructure companies, and green mobility enterprises . EnlistNew green industriesonto theNAPS portalacross four states. Build strong relationships withindustry associations, sector skill councils, and government stakeholders .Govt–Industry Roundtables Plan and organizeGovt–Industry Roundtables(3 per state) focused on EVs, green jobs, and apprenticeships. Coordinate withstate government departments, industry leaders, and training partnersto drive participation and outcomes. Document key insights, MoUs, and action points from each roundtable.Placements & Apprenticeships (NAPS) Facilitateapprenticeship and placement opportunitiesfor trained candidates underNAPS . Support industries inNAPS registration, apprenticeship contract creation, and compliance . Track apprenticeship commencements, completions, and conversion to full-time employment.Candidate Placement & Coordination Align candidate skills with industry demand inEV assembly, battery technology, charging infrastructure, maintenance, and green mobility services . Coordinate interviews, job fairs, and campus-to-industry connects. Maintain placement records, MIS, and employer feedback.Reporting & Compliance Prepare periodicplacement and apprenticeship reportsfor internal review and donor/government stakeholders. Ensure adherence toproject targets, timelines, and state-wise deliverables .Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding ofEV ecosystem, green jobs, and skill development programs Working knowledge ofNAPS / apprenticeship frameworks Excellentstakeholder management and coordinationskills Event management experience (roundtables, industry meets) Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skillsQualifications & Experience Graduate / Postgraduate inManagement, Social Sciences, or related field 5–8 yearsof experience inplacements, industry partnerships, skill development, or government-linked projects Experience in PlacementEV, automotive or green energy sectorspreferred Prior experience withstate or central government schemesis a strong advantageTravel Requirement Frequent travel within the assigned state and occasional inter-state travel
