Title - Ruby DeveloperLocation - Remote Type - Contract Roles and Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using Ruby and related frameworks.Design and implement scalable microservices architectures that support business needs.Deploy, manage, and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.Integrate and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth and continuous delivery.Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy and manage applications on AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms.Develop and maintain robust and secure APIs to facilitate seamless integration with internal and external systems.Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure code quality and system reliability.Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation within the team. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4 to 10 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Ruby.Proven experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.Hands-on experience with microservices design and implementation.Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.Strong knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure.Experience in designing and consuming APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
