Local SEO Specialist (1–2 Years Experience) Key Responsibilities Managing and optimizing multiple Google Business Profiles (GBPs) and other local listings. Handling map suspension appeals to get listings reinstated quickly if suspended. Doing keyword research to find what students and parents are searching for. Building and maintaining local citations (directories, listings, etc.). Regularly updating posts, offers, promotion and photos on Google Business Profiles to drive engagement. Making sure our contact info is consistent everywhere online. Working with the content team to create locally focused blogs and pages. Monitoring and responding to online reviews. Tracking results and keeping an eye on local SEO performance. Staying updated on the latest SEO trends so we’re always ahead. Qualifications & Skills 1–2 years of hands-on SEO experience (local SEO preferred). Experience managing multiple Google Business Profiles. Familiar with Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO. Comfortable with analyzing data and spotting opportunities. Great communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. A curious learner who loves staying on top of digital trends. Geo-tagging images to boost local visibility. Collaborating with designers and content teams to create engaging, optimized posts, images, and local content.
