Software Engineer (.NET / ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, AWS, Microservices)

Integrity, experience, honesty, people, humanity, and passion for excellence are some other adjectives that define this global technology leader.ResponsibilitiesMaintain, optimize, and enhance existing REST API services.Design and implement reusable and modular components that fit into existing applications and services.Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piece.Handle customer support and fix bugs, build solutions based on priority.Passion for developing robust software by writing testable and maintainable code.Leverage analytics to measure performance and monitor availability.Work collaboratively in Agile environment to achieve team goals.Minimum Qualifications2+ years' experience with C# and .NET Core1+ years of hands-on experience with REST API development using Core Web API1+ years experience with consuming and developing/maintaining REST APIs including monitoring and analyticsProficient in using .NET HttpClient for making HTTP requests and consuming RESTful APIsKnowledge and experience with Docker and containerized microservices environmentsHands-on experience with AWS ECS and other primary AWS servicesExperience with at least one major server-side application frameworkExperience working on multi-threading and concurrencyStrong knowledge of Git and GitHub for source control and code review workflowsBS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications5+ years' software development experienceExperience with .NET 6 onwardsExperience with managing complex transitive .NET dependency version conflictsCloud security/security development life cycleDevelopment experience on Mac environment preferredExperience with using AI tools (Cursor/Github Copilot and prompt engineering) preferredExperience with Jenkins CI and Spinnaker pipelines preferredExperience with Splunk and Dynatrace preferredUnderstand, embrace and promote Agile methodologies, principles and values
