We are seeking experienced Database Administrators/Engineers who can manage large-scale, mission-critical systems and deliver reliable database infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily database operations, including monitoring, configuration, upgrades, scaling, backups, and migrations.Continuously improve processes through automation and tooling.Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies, replication, and failover mechanisms.Enforce database security policies, including access control and auditing.Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., PCI DSS).Diagnose and resolve performance and stability issues in production environments.Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain 24/7 system availability.Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data models and optimize queries.Research and adopt emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and best practices.Technology StackLanguages: Python, Shell, SQLDatabases: Oracle, MySQL (including Aurora MySQL and RDS for Oracle)Cloud: AWS (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch)Tools: GitHub, Terraform, FlywayCollaboration: Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, MiroRequired Qualifications7+ years of DBA experience, including at least 3 years with Oracle or MySQL.3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation.Business-level English proficiency.Interest in new technologies and improving operational efficiency.Preferred QualificationsExperience automating database or AWS operations.Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora (Postgres/MySQL compatible).Hands-on experience with AWS RDS for Oracle.
