Technical Architect- Python

We are seeking a Strategic, Hands-on Technical Lead to be the cornerstone of our backend engineering delivery and client partnership. This role bridges deep technical expertise with sharp business acumen. You will own the technical health of our Python microservices, drive predictable delivery, optimize cloud costs, and act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients.If you are a leader who can "walk the talk," confidently engage with stakeholders, and translate technical complexity into tangible business outcomes, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities & ImpactTechnical & Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and development of scalable, cost-effective Python microservices architecture.Client Partnership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, building trust and guiding strategic decision-making focused on business value.Delivery Ownership: Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution, accurate estimation, and alignment with critical business domain needs.Team & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 5-10 engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and high-quality engineering practices (code reviews, Agile/Scrum).Operational Excellence: Proactively manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure costs, performance, and reliability using observability best practices.Modern Practices: Leverage AI tools for productivity (scaffolding, testing) while maintaining a high bar for human-verified code quality and security.Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have10+ years of software development experience, including proven client-facing Technical Leadership.Expert-level Python 3.x and modern web frameworks (Flask/FastAPI/Django).5+ years deep, hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture at scale.Strong Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to balance technical decisions with core business and client needs.Deep PostgreSQL Expertise: Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy, schema design, and query optimization (EXPLAIN ANALYZE).Robust Asynchronous Processing: Production experience with Celery and AWS SQS (idempotency, DLQs).Solid experience with core AWS services (S3, CloudWatch, IAM) and a cost-optimization mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for both technical and business audiences.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.Experience in high-stakes domains (FinTech/HealthTech).Alembic for migrations and Marshmallow for serialization.
