We’ve been growing steadily for four years, and now we’re looking for a Senior Elixir Developer to help us scale our real-time gaming platform.Our tech team works 100% remotely and asynchronously, following modern software development methodologies — so you’ll have the freedom to focus and do your best work.What You’ll DoDesign and develop new features using Elixir and PhoenixBuild near real-time gaming features and live updates (WebSockets, LiveView)Architect and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systemsWrite clean, testable, and maintainable codeCollaborate with the team through code reviews and design discussionsOptimize performance for real-time and distributed systemsStay ahead of the curve with emerging Elixir and backend technologiesWhat We’re Looking ForMSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience with Elixir, OTP, and PhoenixProven experience building near real-time applications (WebSockets, LiveView, etc.)Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrencySolid experience with Git and CI/CD pipelinesProficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQNetworking knowledge (HTTP, gRPC, TCP, AMQP)Self-starter mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in remote startup environmentsNice to HaveExperience with ErlangCloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Monitoring and metrics expertiseFamiliarity with Nx and Axon for machine learningReal-time gaming application experiencePerformance tuning and optimization expertiseExperience with additional programming languagesWhy You’ll Love Working With Us
