SAP SD Business Analyst (Cross-Functional - MM/FI)

FREELANCE ASSIGNMENTWe are looking for an experienced SAP SD Business Analyst to join a global SAP programme on a long-term freelance contract. This role requires a strong SAP SD background combined with cross-functional knowledge across Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI), ideally within pharmaceutical or medical technology (MedTech) environments.You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring that end-to-end processes across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and financial integration are effectively designed, implemented, and optimised.This is a fully remote role, operating in Central European Time (CET) hours.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements across SAP SD, MM, and FI processesTranslate business needs into functional specifications and support solution designLead and facilitate workshops, including fit-gap analysis and process alignment sessionsSupport end-to-end process design across O2C, P2P, and financial integrationWork closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutionsSupport configuration validation, testing (SIT/UAT), and defect resolutionAssist with data migration activities and ensure data integrity across modulesContribute to cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare activitiesEnsure documentation is maintained in line with project standards (eg Solution Manager, JIRA)Your Profile SAP ExpertiseStrong experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)Good cross-functional knowledge of:SAP MM (Materials Management)SAP FI (Finance - AR/AP integration)Functional KnowledgeSolid understanding of:Order-to-Cash (O2C) processesIntegration points between SD, MM, and FIPricing, billing, and invoicing processesExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst within SAP programmesExperience working on implementations, rollouts, or transformation projectsExperience within Pharma or MedTech environments is highly desirable/preferredFamiliarity with S/4HANA environments is preferredWorking StyleStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to work in cross-functional, global teamsComfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery environmentsWhat We OfferLong-term freelance contractFully remote workingOpportunity to work on a large-scale SAP transformation programmeCollaborative and fast-paced project environment
