Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role: Accounts Receivable SpecialistLocation: India (Remote)Hours: Full TimeThe Role:Napster is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Finance team. You’ll support the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and cash application. You’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and helping maintain healthy cash flow across the business.What You’ll Do: Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.Apply customer payments accurately, including ACH, wire, and check transactions.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer inquiries promptly.Maintain customer account records, including billing details, payment terms, and contact information.Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Finance) to resolve invoicing or payment issues.Reconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close activities.Utilize accounting software to manage invoicing, collections tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.What You’ll Bring: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, a related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and cash application.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software.Experience with billing and collections tools or ERP systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.We’ll be extra pumped if you have:Proficiency in NetSuite.Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)Health Benefits: Comprehensive Group Medical Insurance covering employees and their dependents, along with Group Personal Accident (GPA) coverage for employees.Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave in accordance with company policy along with Baby Bonus.Our Culture:Impact: Play a crucial role in our growth journey.Culture: Join a vibrant team valuing creativity and collaboration.Growth: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Reward: Enjoy competitive compensation, equity opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.Ready to shape our future?
