Duck Creek Policy & Billing Lead QA

Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a DC Policy & Billing QA with 8+ years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our Duck Creek Policy Data Migration. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance workflows, test case design, and defect management, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Requirements - Minimum 8+ years of overall QA experience, with 5+ years specifically in Duck Creek Policy testing. - Knowledge of P&C insurance processes and terminology. - Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy components such as Author, Forms, Rating, and UI. - Experience with tools like ADO, JIRA, or HP ALM for test management and defect tracking. - Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specs, and configuration designs for Duck Creek Policy. - Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for various policy transactions (Quote, Bind, Endorse, Renew, Cancel, Reinstate). - Validate policy configurations, forms, rating logic, rules, and UI behavior within the Duck Creek suite. - Perform manual functional and regression testing, ensuring accurate product behavior across all policy lifecycle stages. - Log and track defects using ADO, ensuring issues are documented and resolved promptly. - Collaborate with developers, BAs and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to test data setup and environment validation. - Participate in test estimation, peer reviews, and retrospectives.
