Lead Planner - Renewable Energy Projects (Site Planning Role) Location: Site Location, Karnataka About the Role We are hiring a Lead Planner for our client a leading renewable energy company engaged in large-scale solar and wind projects across India. This is a key role where you will drive end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and control, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and on time. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project schedules and ensure alignment with defined milestones. Lead resource planning and allocation, ensuring efficient utilization across project activities. Regularly analyze project performance against baseline schedules and recommend corrective measures. Prepare and present progress reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) for internal and client stakeholders. Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and resource constraints proactively. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Manage vendor invoicing, maintain project documentation, and ensure transparency of project data. Maintain Risk Register, Issue Logs, and Lessons Learned documentation for assigned projects. Promote and uphold a strong culture of safety, quality, and integrity at the workplace. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and control within the Renewable energy & Power sectors. Strong command of MS Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera Strong analytical and coordination abilities, proactive communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability. Commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
