Job Overvie w Job Title : Quality Manager Location : Kollam, Kerala Industry : Manufacturing Salary - 10 LPA Experience in Sales - Food Industry and Malyalum must Key Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for Quality, Food safety & Legality of the products produced & despatched from all facilities. Also, to ensure the quality processes & procedures serve its mission, strategic plan & operational needs of the organization. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Responsible for overall implementation & maintenance of the SOPs, Quality Management systems across facilities & create responsibility of production in Quality Control. 2. Responsible to deliver long term quality improvement, provide support to quality assurance for the strategic development and continual improvement of relationships with business partners such as suppliers & contract manufactures, complex problem solving & process improvisation. 3. Responsible for assuring that the goods supplied meets statutory, customer’s company policy requirements for Food safety and Quality. 4. To support and improve the food safety quality systems and process plans. 5. To provide technical expertise and advice in areas of Food Safety and Quality along with legal requirements. 6. To provide leadership and support for quality improvement projects and daily preventative controls for controlling the hazards from the raw materials, ingredients and from the processing facilities. 7. To provide leadership and development opportunities in quality control through training to build an effective quality team. 8. Ensure all new projects and initiatives on site are implemented in accordance with Food Safety & Quality, customer requirements and the development & tracking of site quality improvement plans. 9. Obtains excellent quality results, as measured by customer complaint frequency, product evaluation scores, internal and external facility and operational audit scores, quality systems compliance, and other formal and informal feedback mechanisms, using existing and future methods, procedures, and systems. 10.Achieve set targets of quality objectives of all the plants that includes zero food safety complaints, non-conformities of internal audit should not exceed as per the set targets. 11.Action plan should be drawn to induce/improve quality concept in all departments. 12.Escalate significant product quality issues to the reporting quality management authority on priority & submit all necessary quality base reports before the management for necessary reviews. 13.Responsible for implementing the CAPA and its continuity and assuring QC staff effectively investigate customer/consumer complaints using root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures and respond to complaints in the required time frame and support the analysis of complaint trends. 14.Responsible for the selection, motivation, and development of QC personnel to ensure all positions are effectively staffed and future team is developed. Ensures food safety and quality training is effective for all employees. 4. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: 5. REMUNERATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: CTC: ₹10 LPA (Indicative). Work Experience: 8 yrs. Languages: Fluent in English & Malayalam. Industry Preference- FMCG ◼ Strong Problem Solving & Leadership Skills. ◼ Good Organizational & Interperso
