Role Title: Elastic Search Developer (Coveo / Elastic Search + Python)Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Elastic Search Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Elastic Search / Coveo Search and Python development. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in building, customizing, and optimizing search platforms, with a pure development background rather than database administration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement scalable search solutions using Elastic Search and/or Coveo SearchBuild and optimize search queries, indexing strategies, relevance tuning, and ranking algorithmsDevelop backend services and integrations using PythonCustomize search pipelines, filters, facets, and recommendationsIntegrate search platforms with various data sources and applicationsImprove search performance, accuracy, and scalabilityTroubleshoot and resolve search-related issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirementsEnsure clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of overall IT experience (mandatory)Strong hands-on experience with Elastic Search and/or Coveo SearchStrong Python development experience (core Python, APIs, scripting)Experience in search indexing, query optimization, relevance tuning, and analyticsExperience building RESTful APIs and integrating search servicesSolid understanding of distributed systems and search architectureExperience with version control tools (Git)Good to HaveExperience with Coveo administration and customizationExposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)Experience with CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of data ingestion pipelines and ETL processesRole DetailsEngagement Type: ContractDuration: Minimum 3 monthsLocation: RemoteNote: Pure development profiles only; database management–focused profiles will not be considered.
