You’ll build automation-driven, high-accuracy billing solutions that deliver measurable client value in accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction.What “Great” Looks LikeYou’ve run LTL back-office/billing or logistics PMO operations for U.S. shippers, carriers, or 3PLs. You’re fluent in LTL exceptions and accessorials (reweigh/reclass, limited access, liftgate, blind shipments, appointments, etc.), can reconcile EDI 210 invoices, track via PRO, and improve first-pass yield using SMC³ (RateWare, CzarLite, CarrierConnect) and a modern TMS.Key Impact Areas1. Pre-Sales Solutioning• Partner with Sales as the operational SME to translate discovery into detailed future-state workflows, SLAs, FTE & automation models, and a pilot plan.• Align with “co-creation” style BPM delivery — domain-led, data-backed, and measurable.2. Transition & Implementation• Stand up full LTL workflows: intake → validation → rating → exception handling → invoice audit/reconciliation → client reporting.• Lead onboarding and establish process controls for EDI 204, 210, 214, 990, 997/999 transactions.3. Delivery & Continuous Improvement• Drive KPI attainment and ongoing improvement in accuracy, cycle time, and exception reduction.• Build operational dashboards and playbooks that function as “the client’s billing department.”4. Client Success & Growth• Conduct QBRs to demonstrate cost-to-serve and value capture.• Identify upsell opportunities such as EDI 210 audit, accessorial charge analytics, carrier rate analysis, and OS&D workflows.Must-Have ExpertiseLTL Domain Mastery• Deep understanding of accessorials & exceptions: appointments, limited access, liftgate, inside delivery, protect-from-freeze, blind shipments.• Knowledge of NMFC classification, density logic, and ClassIT+ 2025 updates.• Experience reconciling EDI 210 invoices, BOL/PRO tracking, and dispute handling.Technical Tools• Hands-on with SMC³ (RateWare, CzarLite, CarrierConnect) and major TMS platforms (McLeod, MercuryGate, OTM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan).Experience• 7+ years in freight/logistics (minimum 3 years in PM/Client Manager role).• Prior experience in BPO/Shared Services or carrier/3PL operations is strongly preferred.• Executive-level English communication skills — confident in presenting to U.S. clients.Nice-to-Haves• Work history with leading LTL carriers or 3PLs (ODFL, XPO, Estes, Saia, FedEx Freight, R+L, PITT OHIO).• Exposure to freight audit/payment processes.• Working knowledge of Python/SQL, RPA, and dashboard design.KPIs You’ll Own• First-Pass Invoice Accuracy (FPY): ≥ 98% on EDI 210 reconciliation.• Exception Rate: ↓ 30–50% in 90 days (reweigh/reclass/accessorial disputes).• Cycle Time: Continuous reduction; higher auto-rating hit rate via SMC³.• Client NPS: ≥ +40 | Account Growth: ≥ 10% YoY expansion.• SLA Attainment: Timely responses, backlog control, and exception aging targets met.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).• Proven leadership managing remote, client-facing teams for U.S. shippers/carriers.• Hands-on with EDI transaction sets (204/210/214/990/997-999) and SMC³ + major TMS.Why ARDEMOwn outcomes, not tickets.
