Job Description – Key Account Manager (MT & E-Commerce)Position: Key Account Manager – Modern Trade & E-CommerceIndustry: FMCGBase Location: KolkataRegion Coverage: East & North IndiaCTC: Maximum up to INR 10 LPARole OverviewThe Key Account Manager (MT & E-Commerce) will be responsible for managing and growing key Modern Trade chains and E-Commerce platforms across the East and North regions. The role focuses on driving sales growth, strengthening key customer partnerships, executing trade strategies, and ensuring strong brand presence in both offline and online channels.Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow key FMCG Modern Trade and E-Commerce accounts across East & North India. - Drive primary and secondary sales, revenue growth, and profitability for assigned key accounts. - Lead negotiations for annual agreements, commercials, promotions, and Joint Business Plans (JBPs). - Plan and execute in-store promotions, visibility initiatives, and category development activities. - Manage listings, promotions, pricing, and performance on e-commerce platforms. - Coordinate with internal teams (Sales Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) for smooth execution and timely fulfillment. - Monitor sales forecasts, stock availability, fill rates, and promotion ROI. - Track competition, market trends, pricing, and consumer insights to recommend corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with company policies, credit norms, and reporting requirements.Key Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of FMCG Modern Trade and E-Commerce channel dynamics. - Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills. - Ability to handle multiple key accounts across regions. - Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Target-driven with strong planning and execution abilities.Education & Experience- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification. - 6–10 years of experience in FMCG Key Account Management, Modern Trade, or E-Commerce. - Proven experience handling national or regional MT chains and/or online marketplaces.Other Requirements- Based in Kolkata with readiness for extensive regional travel. - Exposure to East & North markets will be an added advantage.
