Statistics Specialist

Location: West BengalEngagement: Full-timeQualification:- Master’s degree in Management, Administration, Social Work, Rural Development, or related field from a recognized institution.Experience:- Minimum 10 years of experience in the public/social sector, with at least 5 years in a similar role. - Experience with government, UN, or World Bank-funded projects preferred. - Prior work in women’s economic empowerment initiatives in West Bengal desirable.Skills & Competencies:- Strong management, coordination, and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali. - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Skilled in networking, advocacy, and negotiation. - Transparent, participative, and willing to travel as required.Key Responsibilities:- Support the State Project Manager in managing PMU operations and achieving project goals. - Assist in planning, monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and policy inputs for WEP. - Help prepare and implement Operational Guidelines and Annual Action Plans. - Coordinate pilot initiatives, onboarding of experts, and effective resource utilization. - Liaise with the World Bank, DWCDSW, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution. - Support research, documentation, knowledge management, and policy analysis activities. - Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Project Director or SPM to meet project objectives.
