OPC Techno Functional Consultant

An Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) Techno-Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining OPC, ensuring alignment between project management business processes and system technology. They perform fit-gap analysis, design workflows/forms, and integrate OPC with P6, Unifier, or third-party ERPs. Key roles require 7+ years of experience, expertise in schedule/resource management, and strong communication skills to support full-cycle implementations.Key Responsibilities- Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end OPC implementations, configuring modules such as Schedule, Task, Resource, and Risk Management. - Technical Design & Development: Design, configure, and customize OPC functionality, including workflows, forms, and reports. - Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between OPC, Primavera P6, Unifier, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). - Process Analysis: Perform Fit-Gap analysis to translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications. - Support & Maintenance: Provide post-production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system performance. - Documentation & Training: Create functional design documents and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.Required Skills & Qualifications- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with OPC configuration, database structures, and reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher). - Functional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of project & portfolio management (PPM) principles and business processes. - Implementation Experience: Minimum 1-2 full-cycle OPC implementations. - Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, IT, or related fields. - Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work with cross-cultural teams.
