Job Title: AI & Automation Specialist (Finance), 3–6 yearsLocation: Bangalore, India (client-facing; onsite/hybrid)Employment Type: Full-timeRole Summary: We are hiring an AI and automation specialist to operationalize analytics and AI for finance and procurement processes and workflows. You will design, build, and deploy AI/agent-based and RPA solutions using the approved tool stack, enable Finance teams through hands-on training and coaching, drive change management and adoption. This role is ideal for an engineer/consultant who has delivered measurable impact through automation within enterprise constraints and can translate business needs into robust, maintainable solutions.Key Responsibilities:Solution discovery and prioritizationPartner with Finance stakeholders to assess, refine, and prioritize high-value use cases aligned to efficiency, risk reduction, and revenue impact.Translate business requirements into technical designs with clear success metrics and KPIs.AI/automation solution design and deliveryDesign, develop, and implement AI/automation solutions leveraging existing enterprise platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PowerApps, Copilot), and Python.Integrate with existing systems, data sources, and workflows; ensure robust data modelling and API integration where required.Create dashboards, reporting tools, and conversational/NLG interfaces to improve usability and decision-making.Training, coaching, and documentationDeliver workshops, hands-on sessions, and office hours to transfer knowledge to Finance teams.Produce comprehensive documentation: solution architecture, data/workflow diagrams, test plans, release notes, and user guides.Change management and adoptionPlan and execute pilots, UAT, and iterative improvements based on user feedback.Establish adoption metrics, track performance and engagement, and drive continuous improvement via regular feedback loops.Compliance, security, and governanceBuild solutions that comply with enterprise data protection, security, regulatory, and IP policies.Project management and reportingProvide regular status updates, progress reports, and a final outcomes report with quantified impact.Coordinate with team to align milestones and timelines; manage risks, issues, and dependencies.Required Skills and Experience3–6 years of hands-on experience delivering AI/RPA/analytics solutions in enterprise environments, preferably within Finance, FP&A, GL accounting, or sourcing.Strong expertise with Microsoft Power Platform: PowerApps (canvas/model-driven), Power Automate; data connections and governance.Power BI proficiency: data modelling, Power Query/M, building interactive dashboards/reportsAdvanced Excel: Power Query, complex formulas; VBA is a plus.RPA with Automation Anywhere: bot development, orchestration, credential vault, error handling, and scheduling.AI/ML capabilities:NLP and LLMs: prompt engineering, document parsing, summarization, semantic search/RAG, and evaluation.Forecasting and anomaly detection: time-series models and ML techniques; practical experience with Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL, where permitted.Natural language generation for commentary and report narratives.Integration and engineering: REST APIs, SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive integration, basic CI/CD, Git-based version control, unit/integration testing.Security and compliance mindset: experience building audit trails, RBAC, and working within data protection and regulatory frameworks.Training and enablement: proven ability to design and deliver workshops and training for non-technical users; create clear, reusable materials.EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance/Accounting with strong analytics exposure; or equivalent practical experience.
