The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in biomedical systems, an understanding of clinical environments, and a commitment to innovation, safety, and regulatory compliance.Design, test, and evaluate new medical devices and systems, ensuring they meet clinical needs and safety standards. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment in hospitals, clinics, or research labs to ensure proper functionality. Work closely with healthcare professionals, researchers, and regulatory teams to gather requirements and optimize device usability. Ensure all designs and processes comply with medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, CE marking) and quality systems. Participate in research projects focused on biomechanics, biomaterials, diagnostic imaging, or wearable technologies. Conduct verification and validation of devices, including performance, stress, and safety tests. Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and user manuals related to biomedical equipment and design specifications. Provide technical training to clinical staff and users on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
