By combining Point of Sale (POS), Loan Origination (LOS), AI, Business Intelligence, and more into a single, seamless platform, Charlie optimizes lending operations from start to finish.the Role:We are looking for a detail-oriented full-time Manual QA Engineer with strong QA experience in U.S. mortgage technology, including integrations, MISMO standards, POS, LOS, and mortgage origination platforms. The QA Engineer will work closely with the U.S.based team, with an expected overlap with U.S. business hours. The QA Engineer will be responsible for performing thorough manual testing of software applications, designing test plans, identifying and reporting issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. This role is well-suited for a QA professional who values quality, takes ownership of testing outcomes, and communicates clearly in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate understands the importance of quality in client-facing systems and is comfortable validating complex business workflows.Shift Timing:3:00 p.m. IST – 12:00 a.m. IST (U.S. business hours overlap)What You’ll Do:Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing for client-facing web applications.Create and maintain clear, business-aligned test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Validate end-to-end business workflows to ensure accuracy, stability, and alignment with client expectations.Identify, log, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and business impact.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and reduce gaps early.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness discussions during U.S. working hours overlap.Support client demos, UAT cycles, and release validations as needed.Provide clear and timely test status updates to internal and U.S.-based stakeholders.Proactively identify quality risks, edge cases, and improvement areas that may impact delivery timelines.Maintain test execution records, reports, and QA documentation.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and overall product quality.What You’ll Bring:U.S. mortgage domain experience (LOS, MISMO, Mortgage workflows, compliance checks)Strong hands-on experience in manual QA testing, particularly regression testing.Solid understanding of QA fundamentals, test design techniques, and the defect lifecycle.Experience testing web-based, client-facing applications.Ability to write clear, structured, and reusable test cases.Familiarity with test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.Comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based teams, including participating in meetings during overlapping business hours.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a quality-first mindset.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Why Join Us:Work on real-world, enterprise-grade products used by U.S. mortgage lenders.Opportunity to build strong domain expertise and client-facing QA capabilities.Collaborative culture that values accountability, transparency, and quality.Competitive compensation and an environment that supports learning and professional growth.
