Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation (Web | API)Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Budget: ₹28,00,000 LPA Primary Skills: JavaScript, Playwright (5 years Mandatory)Immediate joiners ( who are able to join before December 19)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright / Selenium / WebDriverIO in JavaScript or TypeScript.Perform API automation, test execution, and results analysis to identify defects.Understand requirements and collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to design robust test cases.Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Conduct code reviews and maintain clean, high-quality automation code.Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and accurately.Follow test automation best practices and increase automation coverage.Stay updated on modern automation tools and healthcare domain trends.Required Skills & Experience7+ years of experience in software testing, including web and API automation.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or Selenium/WebDriverIO.Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and JS automation frameworks.Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, or Cucumber.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with tools like Postman/Swagger.Experience with Git and version control workflows.Exposure to GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.Ability to derive test scenarios from automation requirements.
