Associate - Investment Banking – Equity Capital Markets / Private Capital Advisory

We are looking for a driven and client-facing candidate to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Private Capital Advisory team. This role is ideal for a candidate with 3–5 years of experience in investment banking or capital markets (including Wealth/PMS distribution) who thrives in high-impact environments and has direct exposure to Public market and private market investors. You will play a key role in executing equity and equity-linked transactions, as well as sourcing and raising private capital across venture, growth, and late-stage funding rounds.You will work closely with senior bankers, issuers, and investors to deliver tailored capital markets solutions across public and private marketsKey Responsibilities:• Support origination and execution of equity offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, PIPEs, and block trades.• Manage private capital raises for high-growth companies across venture, growth equity, and pre IPO stages.• Engage directly with institutional investors, venture capital firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and HNI investors.• Prepare high-quality marketing materials, including pitch decks, investor presentations, term sheets, and market updates.• Coordinate investor outreach, virtual/in-person roadshows, and feedback collection processes.• Perform market and investor analysis to guide deal strategy and positioning.• Assist issuers in preparing for capital markets transactions, including equity story development and investor targeting.• Maintain detailed investor intelligence and contribute to building long-term capital relationships for the firm.Required Skills & Qualifications:• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, ECM, private capital advisory, or investor relations (can consider from Wealth/PMS distribution).• Demonstrated knowledge of equity capital markets, including deal structuring, syndication processes, and investor engagement.• Experience working on IPOs, SPACs, private placements, or growth capital transactions.• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with investors and company executives.• Excellent analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.• Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; CA, MBA or CFA preferred.Preferred Experience:• Experience in a sector-focused investment banking team is an advantage.• Familiarity with venture and growth-stage investor networks (e.g., VC, PE, crossover funds), Family offices and U/HNI investors• Understanding of current market trends in public equity and private capital markets.
