This role is focused exclusively on strengthening our cybersecurity posture, protecting systems, networks, and data from threats, and ensuring rapid response to security incidents. This position is not focused on compliance or audit functions, but rather on hands-on cybersecurity operations and defense.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats across systems and networksPerform continuous security monitoring using SIEM and other security toolsInvestigate suspicious activity, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation actionsManage and respond to alerts from firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and other security systemsConduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate timely remediation with relevant teamsImplement and maintain security controls to protect organizational infrastructurePerform threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential risksAssist in incident response planning, testing, and executionMaintain documentation of security incidents, procedures, and system configurationsCollaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve overall security postureRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security rolesHands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability scannersStrong understanding of network security, system security, and threat detection techniquesExperience with incident response and security operationsFamiliarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud environmentsAbility to analyze logs and identify anomalous behaviorStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsRelevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalentExperience with threat intelligence platforms and frameworksKnowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automationExperience working in a 24/7 or shift-based environmentKey SkillsThreat Detection & Incident ResponseNetwork & Endpoint SecurityVulnerability ManagementSecurity Monitoring (SIEM tools)Analytical ThinkingCommunication & DocumentationAdditional RequirementsWillingness to work US shift (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST)Ability to work in a fast-paced, security-focused environmentStrong attention to detail and sense of ownershipWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on real-time cybersecurity challenges in the healthcare domainCollaborative and growth-oriented environmentExposure to modern security tools and technologiesOpportunity to work with global teams supporting US healthcare clients
