Pre Sales Solutions-Oil and Gas

Key responsibilities Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company Work closely with sales to identify customer requirements, design solutions and deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the oil and gas industry. Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, technologies and the competitive landscape for oil and gas digital transformation. Required Skills And Attributes Knowledge of industry standards, compliance and safety requirements in oil and gas operations. Familiarity with relevant software and digital platforms for oil and gas. Commercial acumen including cost estimation and business case. Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements High-level verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer Preferred Qualifications BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customer’s technical requirements 3+ years experience in pre-sales or consulting, preferably in oil and gas or energy sector.
