You will lead backend engineering delivery, set standards, and ship production-grade services with strong quality practices.ResponsibilitiesOwn backend architecture and delivery using Node.js + TypeScript + NestJSDesign and implement REST APIs and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentationBuild and maintain microservices (service boundaries, integration patterns, error handling, retries)Own data model design and performance using PostgreSQL + Prisma (migrations, indexing, query optimization)Implement caching/session/queue patterns using RedisIntegrate centralized authentication/authorization using Keycloak (OIDC/OAuth2/JWT)Establish engineering standards: PR reviews, CI-ready code, testing strategy, release disciplineCollaborate with product/PM to convert requirements into executable technical tasks and acceptance criteriaImprove observability: structured logging, metrics, dashboards (Grafana)Required qualifications2+ years backend experience; strong production experience in Node.js + TypeScript2+ years with NestJS (or comparable enterprise Node framework with DI/modules)Strong DB experience: PostgreSQL + ORMs (Prisma preferred), migrations, performance tuningExperience with Redis (caching, sessions, queues, or pub/sub)Strong API design skills (versioning, pagination, validation, idempotency, rate limiting)Strong testing mindset (unit + integration tests; TDD preferred)Experience operating services in Dockerized environments; CI/CD familiarityNice to haveAzure deployment experienceExperience building API Gateways or service routingEvent-driven patterns/message queues (asynchronous workflows)Security best practices (token handling, secrets management, OWASP, RBAC)What success looks like (first 30–60 days)Deliver 1–2 production-ready services/modules with clean API contracts and testsStabilize database migrations and performance baselineStandardize code structure, PR conventions, and service templatesTo apply: Send your resume + 2–3 relevant GitHub repos (or code samples), and briefly describe one backend system you scaled in production.
