Over the past three years, we’ve built a holistic approach that combines community programs, suicide prevention initiatives, affordable therapy, and peer support. We also create and provide accessible resources to make mental health conversations easier and more informed. Through these efforts, Agatsu works to make mental health care more inclusive, approachable, and affordable.Role Overview: The role primarily entails providing therapy to patients using the Healthy Activity Program (HAP), a structured, evidence-based therapeutic modality implemented at Agatsu Foundation.Therapists will first undergo in-house training in HAP, followed by supervised practice, before independently applying the modality in their therapeutic work.In addition to patient sessions, the role includes participating in study hours, engaging in regular supervision, offering emotional offloading spaces for peers, and contributing meaningfully to the overall clinic ecosystem.Please note: All therapists at Agatsu are required to be trained in the Healthy Activity Program and to demonstrate competence in the modality through our internal evaluation and certification process. Independent practice with patients using HAP will begin only once the therapist is adequately prepared and certified through this internal process. Confirmation is contingent upon passing the HAP evaluation. All therapists are also expected to engage in their own therapy as part of our commitment to ethical and reflective practice. Key responsibilities:Therapy and Patient Work* Conduct individual therapy sessions in alignment with organizational guidelines.* Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation for all client sessions* Manage scheduling and communication with patients in a professional and ethical manner. Supervision* Attend regular individual and group supervision sessions.* Contribute as a peer supervisor by offering constructive feedback and support. * Prepare and submit supervision reports as required.Training and Development* Participate actively in study hours and internal training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.Mental Health Resources* Vet and review mental health resources to ensure relevance and quality.* Maintain and update the resource vetting sheet regularly.Clinic Ecosystem and Emotional Holding* Contribute to the overall clinic functioning, including handling clinic calls, coordinating supervision schedules, and setting up therapy rooms.* Provide emotional holding and support to peers as part of fostering a healthy team culture.Qualifications & Experience:* Masters degree in Psychology from a recognized university.* Minimum one year experience or more in a similar role.
