Job Description:
The Spine Animator will be responsible for creating high-quality, optimized 2D animations and special fx for slot games, bonus rounds, in-game events, and other interactive features. This role will work closely with artists, UI/UX designers, and developers to ensure animations enhance gameplay and align with Ruby Seven’s unique visual style.Key Responsibilities:- Design and animate reels, symbols, characters, and bonus features for slot and social casino games. - Rig characters, props, and UI elements for efficient and reusable animation workflows. - Collaborate with concept artists and game designers to create visually compelling transitions, win celebrations, and special effects. - Implement animations into the game engine, ensuring proper timing, polish, and performance optimization for mobile and web platforms. - Work with developers to troubleshoot and refine in-game animations. - Maintain consistency of style, pacing, and quality across multiple game titles. - Iterate quickly based on internal feedback and player testing results.Required Qualifications:- Proven professional experience in 2D animation for games, preferably slots, casino, or casual mobile titles. - Strong portfolio demonstrating SPINE animation and rigging skills. - Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, etc.). - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with social casino mechanics and visual design trends. - Knowledge of VFX creation for casino games (particle effects, glow, sparkles, coin bursts, etc.). - Familiarity with asset optimization for mobile performance. - Basic scripting knowledge for animation triggers and sequences.How to Apply:- Online portfolio is mandatory for screening.
