Head- Study Abroad Advisory

We are seeking a senior industry professional to lead our Study Abroad Advisory function, with complete ownership of counselling quality, team performance, and destination strategy.⚠️ Please note: This role is strictly for candidates with prior experience in the study abroad / international education industry.Mandatory Experience Requirements (Non-Negotiable)- Minimum 12 years of total professional experience - At least 5 years must be in the study abroad / international education industry - Remaining experience may be in similar leadership, advisory, or education-sales roles, together totalling 12+ years - Proven experience in leading and managing a relatively large counselling/advisory team - Hands-on exposure to multiple study destinations (UK, Australia, Europe, etc.) - Strong understanding of sales-driven counselling, conversions, and intake planningApplications from candidates without direct study abroad or international education experience will not be considered.Role Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of study abroad advisors - Ensure high-quality, ethical, and compliant counselling standards - Drive team performance, conversions, and revenue outcomes - Support advisors with student profiling, destination strategy, and intake planning - Monitor KPIs, counselling quality, and overall team productivity - Work closely with management on process improvement and growth initiatives-Key Skills & Competencies- Strong people leadership and team-handling capability - Deep understanding of study abroad counselling workflows - Ability to balance student-centric guidance with business objectives - Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills - Comfortable operating in a target-oriented, fast-paced environment-CompensationCompetitive compensation, with a structured hike over last drawn salary (typically ~20%), based on experience, leadership scope, and role fit.Who Should Apply- Current or recent Head / Associate Head / Team Head / Senior Manager in the study abroad or international education sector - Leaders who have handled sizeable counselling teams - Professionals looking to own a critical leadership function-All applications will be handled with strict confidentiality.
