It is dedicated to shaping future leaders and professionals in the fashion industry.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time or full-time on-site role for a Faculty Member in the Fashion Design Department at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Kochi. Responsibilities include conducting lectures, developing and delivering course materials, mentoring students, and evaluating assignments and projects. The role involves staying updated on current trends, fostering creativity among students, and contributing to curriculum development to ensure industry relevance. Faculty members are also encouraged to participate in academic events and support various departmental initiatives to enhance the learning experience.QualificationsProficiency in Fashion Design concepts, including pattern making, garment construction, textiles, and design principles.Experience in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD tools knowing CLO 3D would be plus .Strong teaching, mentoring, and presentation skills to guide and inspire students.Ability to stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into academic content.Educational qualifications in Fashion Design or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications will be an advantage.Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and peers.A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute to curriculum enhancement.
