Design Director

Design Directors are responsible for the leadership of one to multiple projects within the studio. You will be guiding and influencing the journey of the project from start to finish, whilst delegating to your teams, complimenting the skillsets of who you have on your projects. You will champion best practice by working closely with the design team to create work that conceptualises ideas into reality, possessing exceptional interactive design skills and a thorough understanding of emerging technologies. Along with creating exceptional work, you will also be an inspirational leader, nurturing the next generation of the design talent at TCS Interactive. You are passionate about inspiring a team and clients alike through your craft. Responsibilities: Develop the creative execution, ensuring the outputs meet the high standards of the studio Oversee one to multiple projects and work streams Work with existing clients to explore new opportunities and projects Contribute to external initiatives and promotion of the agency Inspire the rest of the studio through their initiative and best practices Occasional travel to client sites across the globe Managing, mentoring and line managing the team, making sure regular 1-2-1’s and reviews are completed for team development Qualifications: 10 Years’ experience within an agency or product design business Experience managing teams and coaching others Experience inspiring leadership members Experience in senior stakeholder management and growth of client accounts Expert in Adobe CS products, Figma and Sketch
