Finance Account Specialist

Required Skills:US Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain books of accounts as per US GAAP Handle day-to-day bookkeeping including:AR, AP, General Ledger Bank & credit card reconciliationsJournal entries & accrualsPerform month-end and year-end close activities Prepare trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsCompliance & Coordination Coordinate with US CPA firms for:Tax filings (Federal & State) Audit support Maintain audit schedules, working papers, and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesRevenue & Cost AccountingSupport revenue recognition as per contract/SOW Track cost allocations, intercompany entries, and cost centers Assist in cost-plus / intercompany accounting if applicableSystems & ProcessPrimary accounting system: Zoho Books Exposure to Quick Books Assist in accounting process improvements and documentation Support data migration or parallel accounting systems if requiredTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of US GAAP Hands-on US accounting experience (non-negotiable)Excellent understanding of: Accrual accounting Reconciliations Financial statements Proficiency in Zoho Books (preferred)Working knowledge of multiple accounting softwarePreferred Skills:Experience handling multi-entity or intercompany accounting Exposure to SOX controls or audit environments Experience working in global finance teams
