We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design anddevelop interactive videos that review and reinforce the learning objectives of the CCSProfessional Communication certification exam.The SME will collaborate with instructional designers, media specialists, and projectstakeholders to create engaging, standards-aligned video content that prepares learners forcertification success while strengthening practical workplace communication skills.Topics and Concepts Covered in the Course:● Basic Communication Principles● Effective Communication● Best Practices for Creating Business Deliverables● Message Delivery Methods● Receiver Communications● Communication ScenariosKey Responsibilities1. Subject Matter Expertise:○ Translate CCS Professional Communication certification objectives into clear,accurate, and learner-appropriate interactive video scripts and scenarios.○ Ensure all content reflects certification standards, workplace relevance, andprofessional communication best practices.○ Provide real-world examples of professional communication challenges andeffective solutions.2. Instructional Design:○ Design interactive videos that engage learners through realistic workplacescenarios and decision-making opportunities.○ Align each video with Bloom’s Taxonomy and Depth of Knowledge (DOK) levelsrequired by certification objectives.○ Collaborate with team members to ensure scripts and storyboards translateseamlessly into high-quality interactive media.3. Collaboration and Feedback:○ Work closely with instructional designers, editors, and project managers toensure instructional quality and accuracy.○ Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders into video content.○ Collaborate effectively within a global, cross-functional team environmentQualifications Required:● Strong knowledge of professional and workplace communication practices.● Prior experience in instructional video design, curriculum development, or interactivelearning content.● Ability to explain communication strategies and principles in a clear, accessible mannerfor diverse learners.● Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, especially for educational videoscripting.● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communication, BusinessCommunication, Education, or English.Preferred:● Experience teaching or training in professional communication, business education, orworkplace skills.● Familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy, instructional design principles, andcompetency-based assessments.● Certification in CCS Professional Communication or another professionalcommunication/workplace skills credential.Skills and Attributes● Strong storytelling and scenario-development skills tailored to professional workplacecontexts.● Ability to contextualize communication strategies for diverse business and culturalsettings.● Creative and innovative approach to interactive learning and instructional media.● Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and learner engagement.● Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.To ApplyPlease submit your resume/CV with clear information regarding your experience related to the information outlined in the job description.
