Motion Graphics Designer (Sports Broadcast – Horse Racing)Location: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-timePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphics Designer with a strong background in sports broadcast design to join our creative broadcast team. This role will focus on developing and animating dynamic graphics for horse racing coverage, ensuring a seamless blend of live data, storytelling, and engaging visual presentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and animate custom motion graphics for horse racing broadcasts, including:Show opens, transitions, and bumpersOn-screen statistics, odds, and race data visualizationsLower thirds, title cards, and branded broadcast elementsCollaborate with producers, editors, and sports analysts to translate racing data and narratives into compelling visuals.Develop graphics templates for fast turnaround and live updates during race events.Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and network broadcast standards.Troubleshoot graphics in live broadcast environments and support technical integration with real-time graphics systems (e.g., Vizrt, Ross Xpression).Maintain a library of reusable templates, assets, and branded elements.Stay current with industry trends, motion design tools, and sports coverage formats.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, preferably within sports broadcasting.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).Experience with real-time broadcast graphics platforms (e.g., Ross Xpression, Vizrt) is highly desirable.Strong grasp of sports design aesthetics, particularly horse racing data (odds, timings, jockey statistics, race cards).Solid understanding of typography, color theory, pacing, and motion design principles.Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with rapid turnaround.Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.A portfolio or demo reel showcasing high-quality motion graphics work, ideally in live or sports television.QualificationsHas a diploma (Bachelor's or Associates) in Motion Design, Broadcast Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.Experience working on-site at sports events or in live production environments.Interest in or working knowledge of horse racing formats, terminology, and statistics.Additional RequirementsHardware/Software Setup:WE360.ai (productivity monitoring)Sprinto (data privacy configuration)Trend Micro (antivirus protection)GLPT (centralized asset inventory)Deliverables & Reporting:Daily reconciliation reports (productivity tracking)Sourcing & onboarding complianceRecorded training sessionsRegular touchbase meetings (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly)Monthly performance scorecardsAttendance notifications (30 minutes before shift)Adherence to work arrangement and holiday calendarWhy Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic broadcast team, where your creative skills will directly impact how global audiences experience horse racing events.
