Educational Qualifications (Essential) Bachelor’s Degree in Music (B.Mus) OR Master’s Degree in Music (M.Mus) OR Sangeet Visharad / equivalent recognised certification OR Degree/Diploma in Performing Arts (Music) 2. Professional Training Candidate should have formal training in one or more: Classical (Hindustani or Carnatic) Vocal Western Vocal Instrumental Music (Keyboard, Guitar, Tabla, Violin, etc.) Choir training / ensemble direction Music theory and notation Preference for candidates who can teach both theory and practical . 3. Teaching Qualification (Preferred) B.Ed. in Music / Education (desirable but not mandatory) Diploma in Music Education or Teacher Training 4. Experience 1–3 years teaching experience in a school OR Preferred Experience conducting school assemblies, events, competitions Experience preparing students for stage performances Experience with school curriculum requirements 5. Required Skills & Competencies Candidate should be able to: Train students for performances, competitions, and functions Conduct choir or group singing Prepare students for annual day, celebrations, etc. Teach rhythm, pitch, and basic theory Maintain discipline in activity classes Play at least one accompanying instrument (keyboard/guitar preferred) 6.
