The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the vibrant academic community at BITS Law School.Focus AreasWe are currently inviting applications from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:- Intellectual Property RightsKey Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive course modules, leveraging innovative teaching methods (Socratic method, case studies, and experiential learning). - Conduct high-quality, original legal research leading to publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and books. - Secure research grants, fellowships, or funded projects from national and international agencies where possible. - Present research findings at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops. - Contribute to policy-oriented research, law reform initiatives, and expert committees where relevant. - Contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and administrative committees. - Provide academic leadership within the school, including curriculum revision and programme development. - Participate in academic committees. - Assist in strategic planning and institutional growth of the law school.Educational Qualifications- Master of Laws from a prestigious Indian University or Foreign University - Must have completed PhD in Law from a reputed institution.Experience & Skills- A minimum of ten (10) years of prior teaching experience in a reputed law school or university is mandatory. - Authorship of at least one monograph published by a renowned or internationally recognized academic publisher is required. - A minimum of ten (10) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed international law journals and/or edited academic volumes is essential.What We Offer- Salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials, aligned with the best in the educational sector. - Generous grants for attending international conferences and professional development programs. - A collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating campus culture
