Job Title: GCP Platform Engineer Total Experience Required: 5 to 8 Years Work Location: Pune, EON - Cluster D Shift Timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST Work Mode: Hybrid ✅ Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned GCP Platform Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops pipelines, networking, and Kubernetes orchestration on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, Dev Ops practices, security, and containerization technologies. ✅ Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP . Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) solutions using Terraform . Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters and containerized applications. Implement and enforce cloud security best practices , including IAM, firewalls, and encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, networking, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to ensure adherence to cloud best practices. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency . Stay up to date with GCP innovations and suggest improvements for platform engineering practices. ✅ Primary Skills (Must Have) Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless, Data Services). Strong background in Platform Engineering and Dev Ops methodologies . Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration. In-depth knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, subnets, firewalls, ingress/egress traffic). Proven experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code . Familiarity with enterprise security tools (e.g., GCP Secret Manager, IAM policies). Experience with Docker , containerization, and multi-stage Docker builds . Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Git Hub Actions , Git Lab CI, or similar. ✅ Additional Skills (Good to Have) Experience with Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and serverless architectures . Knowledge of Policy as Code using tools like OPA (Open Policy Agent) or Forseti. Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on GCP. Monitoring and observability tools like Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver) , Prometheus, and Grafana. ✅ Top 3 Skills Required GCP Hands-on Expertise Platform Engineering & Dev Ops Expertise and hands-on in terraform Networking & Kubernetes Operations
