Title: Senior Power Apps / Power Platform Engineer Location: Remote (INDIA) Duration: 12+ Months contract Interview: WebEx Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Apps / Power Platform Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is focused on leading the migration of legacy InfoPath forms to Power Apps within Microsoft 365, modernizing workflows, and building scalable, automated solutions that improve business processes across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint, with a proven ability to architect solutions, drive governance, and mentor junior team members. This position requires both hands-on development and strategic leadership, ensuring that all solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities: Participate in end-to-end migration of InfoPath forms into Power Apps, ensuring modern, efficient, and user-friendly replacements. Architect and develop complex Power Apps solutions (Canvas & Model-Driven) integrated with Dataverse, SQL, and Microsoft 365 services. Build and optimize workflow automation using Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and best practices for the Power Platform and SharePoint. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across Power Apps, Power Automate, and integrations. Document technical solutions, migration strategies, workflows, and governance policies for long-term maintainability. Design and optimize Power BI dashboards to support reporting and analytics needs. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Proven track record of migrating InfoPath forms to Power Apps. Advanced expertise in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps) and workflow automation. Strong knowledge of Dataverse and integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, etc.). Experience developing custom connectors and working with REST APIs or Microsoft Graph API. Deep understanding of Power Platform governance, ALM, and security best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong expertise in SharePoint Online/On-Premise development and customization. Proven experience with ShareGate for SharePoint migration. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting. Experience with SPFx, React/TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with Power BI dashboards for analytics and visualization. Familiarity with SQL, Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, AI Builder). Exposure to JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar workflow/project tools. Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-400). Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor and coach others. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent documentation and presentation capabilities. Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and manage shifting priorities.
