Responsibilities1. Assessment & Goal SettingConduct behavioural assessments.Assist in developing individualized ABA therapy plans based on assessment results.Set measurable goals and track progress regularly.2. Delivering ABA InterventionsImplement ABA-based intervention strategies, including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and task analysis.Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions focusing on communication, social skills, behaviour reduction, and daily living skills.Apply behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) consistently across sessions.3. Data Collection & DocumentationRecord session data accurately and in real time using digital or paper systems.Maintain detailed logs of behaviours, responses, and progress.4. Behaviour ManagementImplement strategies to reduce challenging behaviours safely and ethically.Use de-escalation techniques and maintain calm, supportive interactions.Follow all safety protocols during behavioural incidents.5. Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with therapists, and special educators.Communicate session feedback, strategies, and progress with parents.Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and parent conferences.6. Generalization & Community SkillsSupport children in applying learned skills across environments (home, school, community).Conduct sessions in naturalistic settings when required.7. Professional ConductMaintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines of ABA practice.Attend required trainings, workshops, and supervise sessions.Stay updated with best practices in ABA and child development.8. Environment PreparationSet up materials and structured environments needed for sessions.Ensure therapy spaces are safe, clean, and engaging.Maintain therapy equipment and request replacements when needed.9. Family GuidanceProvide simple, practical home-based strategies for parentsSupport carry-over of skills into everyday routines.QualificationsExperienced OR Trained OR Certified in ABA
