Role: Commercial Banking SME / Consultant Location: IndiaJob Description:Role Overview: We are seeking a seasonedCommercial Banking Consultant/Subject Matter Expert (SME)to join our BFSI practice team. This individual will act as an solutions expert / advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations. He/she will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements.Key Responsibilities: Act as adomain consultant and advisorin commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements. Thorough understanding of the Banking delivery function, with deep understanding of maturies, platforms, geographical requirements, clients support system, accelerators in the ecosystem Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function. Own RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings. Drive, support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, Gen AI, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations. Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery. Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience incommercial banking domain , with exposure to one or more areas likecorporate lending ,trade finance ,cash & payments ,risk & compliance ,client onboardingfrom operationsstandpoint. Previous experience in consulting,transformation , orsolution architectrole within an BPS function is preferred. Strong understanding ofbanking processes, systems , andcompliance/regulatoryenvironment. Very good understanding of the digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is a plus. Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor with Master’s degree in management, or related field.Preferred: Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
