Regional Sales Engineer

We are looking for a skilled salesperson, with hands-on experience working withsteel millsandselling special steeland orwear related products .Swedish ME Steel is a growing international company, with afast-moving teamon a mission to enable businesses to do more and be more by using the best and most versatile special steel products in the world,*Please note that only applicants with real experience of selling tool & engineering steel or wear products will be considered.Job Description ·Sell, sell, sell (You will be measured and rewarded on your sale performance). ·Drive price negotiations to optimize margins. ·Identify and develop new customers. ·Build lasting relationships with customers. ·Develop a clear understanding of customers’ needs. ·Investigate and resolve customers’ issues. ·Conduct seminars and presentations. ·Follow up and monitoring of payments. ·Plan, report and communicate regularly with management and support functions. ·Create monthly plans and long-term strategies together with management & support functions. ·Conduct all business within the scope of SMS company policies and mission.Skills required. ·Experience and understanding of value-added sales towards steel mills. (very important) ·Demonstrate ability to secure and develop new customers. ·Show initiative and resourcefulness. ·Ability to handle high tempo and confidence to take decisions. ·Comfortable with frequent traveling and continuously visiting customers ·Ability to work independently. ·Ability to learn on the job and gain strong product knowledge. ·Confident and skillful in negotiating. ·Ability to manage reporting and forecasting duties accurately and timely. ·Work in a structured and effective wayExperience required. ·University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field. ·Minimum 3 years of sales experience of selling special steel or wear products. ·Experience fromsteel ,cement, mining, die and mouldindustry is preferred. ·Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook knowledge required. ·Strong command of English in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. ·Personality type (Very important) ·High energy ·Extrovert and socially skilled ·Good confidence and performance driven
