Job Title :*_ Boiler Field Operator / Fireman – CPP (Gas Fired Boiler)*_ Location: Chowka,ChandilDepartment: Captive Power Plant (CPP)Reporting To: Shift In-Charge Job Description: Operate and monitor gas-fired boilers and related auxiliaries in the field. Maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and other operating parameters as per standard norms. Ensure safe startup, normal running, and shutdown of boiler systems. Coordinate with control room operators for smooth plant operation. Perform regular inspection and housekeeping of boiler and surrounding areas. Report any abnormalities or equipment issues to the shift in-charge immediately. Maintain logbooks and operation records accurately. Assist maintenance team during breakdowns and scheduled shutdowns. Ensure adherence to safety, environment, and operational standards. Qualification & Experience: Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in boiler operation (preferably in gas-fired or oil-fired boilers). Certification: Second Class Boiler Operator Key Skills: Hands-on experience in field operation of gas-fired boilers. Basic understanding of boiler safety, controls, and instrumentation. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong focus on safety and reliability.
