With a vision to create an enlightened and equitable society, we are committed towards playing a larger role in India’s sustainable development by embedding wider economic, social and environmental objectives through its programmes.Employment Type:Fixed-Term ContractReporting Relationship : Manager Disability ---> Lead DisabilityLocation : JamshedpurPurpose of the Role: Principal Sabal Gyanoday cum Subject Matter Expert (SME)- Intellectual disabilityKey Deliverables: •Develop Sabal’s institutional capability as a knowledge creator in the field of intellectual disabilities and contribute to building a stronger ecosystem for intervention, research, and action. •Coordinate with government bodies, local authorities, and parent committees; conduct awareness drives and parent workshops; and build partnerships with NGOs, CSR entities, and ecosystem players to strengthen interventions in intellectual disability across Jharkhand, Odisha and India at Large. •Contribute towards the overall objective of sabal in all operational locations including building community led initiatives for PwID in rural areas using CBR Models. •Manage the administrative and functional aspect of Sabal Gyanoday: Oversee daily school operations including academic, administrative, and co-curricular functions; manage procurement and maintenance of learning materials, assistive devices, and infrastructure; ensure timely documentation, academic reports, and compliance submissions. •Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the academic curriculum in line with NIEPID guidelines, ensuring alignment with government approved educational structures and statutory norms. •Any other work assigned for the fulfilment of Sabal Objective.Minimum Qualification:B.Ed./M.Ed in Special EducationMinimum Work experience in years:03-08 Years of relevant experience.Technical Competencies: - Knowledge of RPwD Act, NEP 2020 provisions for special education, and inclusive education frameworks. -Running of Special SchoolsBehavioral Competencies : • Team Leadership Management • Strategic Thinking and Decision Making • Self-driven, result-oriented, committed to timelines. • Strong community connect & team-spirit. • Relationship Management.
