Job DescriptionUnique Job Role (UJR):Manager MaterialReporting to (Position): Construction ManagerBusiness Unit: AI InfraFunction: AI Infra & FacilitiesLocation: JamnagarPurpose of the Role To manage the material coordination, inspection, and handling of materials required for the AI/Data Centre project, ensuring timely availability, quality compliance, and optimal utilization of all construction and technical materials. The Material Engineer supports project execution by coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain seamless material flow.Key Responsibilities1. Ensure timely delivery, and availability of all materials for civil, electrical, mechanical, and MEP works.2. Coordination with logistics team for bought out material handling.3. SAS related coordination for material entry, MIN, PR, Mat Codes, Stock Transfer, Material re-conciliation, etc.2. Inspect materials for quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to standards and safety requirements.3. Maintain accurate inventory records, material logs, and tracking systems.4. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to resolve supply issues and ensure on-time delivery.5. Collaborate with project teams to forecast material requirements, budget uploading in system in coordination with FC&A, cash flow and optimize usage to minimize wastage.6. Support approval processes for material submittals, sample approvals, and testing.7.
