Title: Lead mechanical EngineerLocation: Jamnagar, GujaratYears of Experience: 15-20 yearsRole -To lead and oversee all mechanical works for the AI/Data Center project, ensuring the development of high-performance, resilient, and energy-efficient mechanical infrastructure to support advanced computing environments. The Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of mechanical systems—including cooling, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing—in compliance with data center design standards, project specifications, and industry best practices. Provide technical leadership and coordination across design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical systems with electrical and civil infrastructure critical to AI/Data Center operations.Responsibilities:1. Lead the planning, design review, and execution of mechanical systems specific to data center infrastructure (e.g., cooling systems, chilled water plants, CRAHs/CRACs, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing).2. Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure alignment of mechanical works with data center layouts, equipment loads, and operational requirements.3. Review mechanical design drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with data center standards, energy efficiency targets, and local regulations.4. Supervise and monitor installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.5. Implement robust QA/QC procedures to maintain high installation precision, reliability, and uptime suited to mission-critical environments.6. Ensure mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with electrical systems, building automation, and site infrastructure for operational efficiency and maintainability.7. Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, providing clear technical direction, oversight, and performance evaluations.8. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.9. Support value engineering, sustainability, and energy efficiency initiatives in mechanical system design and execution.
